About Me

hello! This is my first blog and I am very excited to share my thoughts, inspirations, crafts and advice. I am a new young mother loving every moment of it ! I like to think of myself as crafty, a good cook, and an outdoor kind of gal.
I recycle and up cycle everything from the basic paper and bottles to clothes and furniture. I love making old things new again and the Goodwill and free section of craigslist are my go-to's for home decor and crafting. I love the idea of living an organic, green lifestyle and I am trying slowly but surely to make changes in my life. I also love processed food too much. (I'm from chicagoland, can you blame me?) I like to cook and bake but LOVE to eat. We are a hiking and camping kind of family but also enjoy plopping down to watch a good movie. I love to scrapbook and I love all things paper. My weaknesses are chocolate and shopping. (Which I believe are two common things that all woman share) I love all things weddings and home decorating and spend many hours on Pinterest!
I hope that woman can gain some helpful advice, tips and tricks from what I have learned so far being a stay at home mother. My son Liam is 10 weeks old (born January 9th 2013) ,he is my first child, and I have been obsessed with him , like all mothers are, since the day I found out I was pregnant. I will be sharing everything from skincare tips to infant toys, breast pumping and fashion...

I thrive off of creativity, I am easily inspired and I am slightly obsessed with birds, elephants and paper. My "style" would be boho with hints of shabby chic. I will be sharing as I am learning, so follow along in my new adventure as a momma !
